A bespoke multi-level family sanctuary pairing heritage British architectural bones with calm, Mediterranean-inspired materiality.
"To soften our historic limestone residence into an unhurried, luminous home that balances British pastoral heritage with Aegean light."
We stripped away decades of disjointed partitions to let Cotswold oolitic stone communicate directly with poured lime plaster, unlacquered bronze fittings, and tactile Mediterranean olive textiles.
The Cotswolds Stone Villa began as an 18th-century country residence burdened by dark corridors and fragmented utility spaces. Our studio introduced structural arched apertures that guide daylight through the central spine of the property, creating effortless sightlines towards the surrounding rolling gardens.
Every bespoke joinery piece was drafted by our London studio and hand-crafted by local Cotswolds artisans from fumed European oak. Integrated ambient perimeter illumination eliminates overhead harshness, leaving spaces softly glowing like early Mediterranean dusk.
Breathable, non-toxic mineral surface with nuanced trowel movement that absorbs and softens morning sunlight.
